Environmental Air Systems Closes Purchase of Triad Facility

Environmental Air Systems and Envirotrol today announced the acquisition of a 245,000 square-foot office and manufacturing facility with the help of JLL and Samet Properties. The full service building is located at 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, North Carolina.

Based in the Triad area of Central North Carolina, Environmental Air Systems, LLC is a mission critical mechanical contractor and custom HVAC equipment manufacturer and through its subsidiary Envirotrol, is a building controls contractor and commercial HVAC Service provider. The facility located at 250 Swathmore Ave. in High Point will support the company’s construction, manufacturing, building controls and service businesses. EAS will employ over 300 people at this location.

“We’re seeing sustained demand for our products and services,” said Brian Evans, EAS President & CEO. “The location, size and capacity of this property offers Environmental Air Systems and Envirotrol the chance to bring our five Triad area locations together under one roof supporting the continued growth of our business operations for years to come.”

The company will add overhead cranes and make various modifications to the facility over the next six months. They plan to host an open house in the spring for its customers and suppliers. Arrangements will be finalized and communicated at a later date.

Fitzpatrick Earns MESH Certificate

Mike Fitzpatrick (EAS High Point), was recently notified by the MESH Board of Directors that he had successfully completed the requirements and earned the Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health Certificate. The MESH Certificate is awarded to individuals who demonstrate achievement through education in occupational safety, health and the environment. This program prepares managers for keeping their worksites safe & healthy, and that preparation improves employee protection and company productivity. Congratulations Mike Fitzpatrick.

Congratulations to Mr. Cyrus Fitzpatrick (Son of Mike Fitzpatrick – EAS High Point). Cyrus was one of the four children of employees that was awarded a CSUSA scholarship for 2014. The award is $10,000: $2,500 each year for four years, provided he maintains a certain GPA. He ranked 8th out of a class of 455 at Northwest Guilford High School with a cumulative GPA 5.20. Cyrus will be attending UNC Chapel Hill this fall majoring in biology and plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Kelly Morgan, Daniel Bizo 14- Aug, 2013 ~ As a privately owned financial institution, Fidelity Investments has been known for its attention to detail and willingness to think and invest for the long term.  Both are in evidence in its approach to datacenters.  The firm built quite a few traditional facilities over the years, but in 2008 began seeking an approach that would provide rapid on-site deployment, along with its usual requirements for very high reliability and quality, yet could still be adapted to suit emerging technology trends.  The result is Centercore, Fidelity’s own version of an off-site constructed datacenter that is relatively quick to build yet flexible in design.  Fidelity developed the concept with help of Integrated Design Group (a patent is pending) and is now advancing the Centercore brand by licensing the underlying technology to its fabricator Environmental Air Systems.  Read More…(Attach to link…)

Envirotrol Wins Distech Controls Green Project Award

Distech Controls, an innovation leader in building automation and energy management solutions, awarded its annual Green Integrator award to Envirotrol, LLC.
